Demonstration Steps
Walk through: Ovary releases yolk → Yolk enters oviduct → Albumen (egg white) forms → Shell forms last → Egg is laid. Teacher line: “Each egg is a 24-hour production system inside a living animal.”

Game Purpose: Teams act as “farm managers” optimizing egg production systems.
How It Works
Each team gets Scenario Cards: Low egg production, Stress in flock, Poor nutrition, Too much light or too little light, Nest box shortage. Teams must diagnose: Problem, Cause, Solution. Bonus Round — “Nest Box Design”: Teams design the best nesting system to increase egg laying. Must include: Privacy, Clean bedding, Safe access, Predator protection.
